Hi all,

Last week after a 2 week break out in the bush, I logged into Skinbook
only to find that I had been banned from the site. No explanation,
and no response from the site's admin when I emailed them to ask why.
This was quite irritating, but it got me thinking just who exactly is
in charge of that network?

Since its inception in late 2008, many members have been suspended or
banned with no prior warning or reason and a number of forum posts
deleted without warning, other than the fact that some of the sites
moderators did not like the way they were going when they became
divisive.

Apparently one of the main admins is not even a practicing nudist, and
another one is a bully who would even personally attack some of the
forum members when he disagreed with their opinion.

Is this the kind of image that the naturist and nudist movement really
wants to be projected on the broader world? If so, then I'm sorry to
see it going that way.

For those who use the Ning networks, I have since started up a new one
based on honesty, openness, integrity and common sense at:

Bullshit! You don't know what you're talking about. I am neither a
sexist nor a homophobe, and in fact one gay friend of mine has joined
the group. Kindly show us which rules are sexist and homophobic.

I'm glad to see that your veneer of goodwill has been shown to be false
so quickly. Is this the way you will deal with all those who point out
faults in your managment?

Anything else you need explaining?

I was removed as not only as a moderator but as a member when the
admins were sent the message that mods could not longer remove members
for gross inappropriate activity. We could only approve photos or not
and if a photo was not nudist, we could only write the perpetrator a
message and not remove him/her.

I alerted the masses what was going on and subsequently was removed.
When my sister posted where I could be found and some Travelites'
events, she was removed. I just think the site owners are young,
have no idea how to market nudism./naturism and don't think about what
repercussions might be to their actions.

Regards, Cheri

They don't seem to like anyone standing up to them, I've just been
suspended too, with Cheri Alexander on the list of Skinbook exiles I
feel I'm in good company.

My dispute was over a comment by an admin just before locking the
thread on Steve Gough, his comments were potentially libelous and
unwarranted. Fortunately I saved the page where the libelous comment
was made, so deletion of that won't help them.

Happy days!

CCBN don't seem to like anyone standing up to them either, because
they've wiped quite a few people out of their members forum over the
last few years too. The truth, they say, often hurts and the only way
people of limited intellect can deal with unpleasant truths is to
shoot the messenger. They lack the intellectual skills necessary to
rebut them with well reasoned counter argument. That is exactly what
CCBN and Skinbook are doing.

bawahahahehe.....soooo 100 years ago they say folks sit and laughed
about what people said about things and others....and the nudist came
along and said hey look at us....we even go so far as walking around
with our dicks hanging out and showing em to little kids....cuz we
want the kids to be open and accepting of all of the human
being....and now the way the nudist behave is even worse.....maybe you
guys need to cover up for a 100 years and then start all over
again.....and get it right next time.....he he......jz

Dario...i have not read your rules.....but it would be interesting to
see what a discussion group on nudity would be like if the only
moderation was eliminating all the posters that stated they were going
to kill file another poster.....it would be ok to killfile but just
dont tell anyone....like....dont ask dont tell.......regards...jz

Apart from not summing anything up you mean?

Now then , about your flawed and bigoted rules, thought any more about them?
