this ridiculous claim on what? Your personal experience? A scientific
survey? Or did you just pull this out of your ass?
He gets it out of comic strips, of course.
The other thing that Anna loves to do, is to perpetuate the stereotypes
about nudists that non-nudists have.
All you have to do is go to the photos on Nudiarist's own blog to seeYou truly sound interested in nudism and you were interested in
participating in nudism before you became a couple with anyone. But it
seems that for most couples the wife goes only as a tagalong and if
the relationship ends so does their participation in nudism. Most
couples, I mean, although I am sure that some women like you are
really into the nudist lifestyle, most seem to go just because their
husband is into it.

stereotypes about nudists perpetuated.

Lots of these photos he gets from back in the 1950s and 1960s from
magazines who were serving the porno crowd. Back then they didn't have
mags like Playboy and Penthouse and they had to make do with nudist
mags. These mags realized that and catered to this group of their
clientele often by showing lots and lots of pubic hair which back then
was the big thing since it was the only place (except for National
Geographics Jungle Native photos) that pervs could see such stuff. A
little ironic that now the big thing with that crowd is to be "bare".
I don't know what that says about the general society but perhaps
because there are so many outlets like Playboy and Penthouse and
others where one could see pubic hair but not so many that one can see
prepubescent nude girls (and even less now that Amazon.com is being
nailed) pubic hair doesn't seem as unusual as seeing women bare down
there.
In 1971 a nudist owner said that what was killing nudism was the whole
sexual revolution thing where now people could go to strip clubs and
the like. I wondered why is this the case unless before then the
nudist resorts WERE actually catering to such minded people despite
all the talk back then regarding how it had nothing to do with sex.
gets desperate when an argument is clearly lost. Roger Ebert recently
addressed the issue of contemporary female nudes and said it better

In Europe, billboards and advertisements heedlessly show nipples.
There are not "topless beaches" so much as beaches everywhere where
bathers remove swimsuits to get an even tan.
Haven't we here proven that for the lie it really is? While of course
it is much much more tolerant than it is in the states it's not like
one can just go to a German city and start walking around without
clothes (as one really stupid American visitor found out). And if
anything, Europe has been going more the American direction in recent
years, perhaps due to the number of people emigrating from Muslim
countries to there.

Now Germany, again, yes much more tolerant of nudity (especially EAST
Germany). But again, it isn't like it's just one big nudist venue
there. You just can't go down the street there nude.

So, let us not overstate Europe's acceptance of nudity as we in
America tend to do. Yeah more accepting than us, but not as accepting
as some of us might think and getting less and less accepting all the
time.
